Underground

Underground are a 4 piece band from Thame who play both electric and acoustic sets. They have been a regular on the Oxford / Aylesbury music scene for many years now but still know how to pull a crowd and create an unforgettable night. The band consist of Matt Wilson on lead vocals and bass, Terry Williams on Drums, Jef O'Riley on guitar and Steve Lockwood on keys.

Whilst gracing the stage at many venues, festivals and events, Underground have had the privilege of sharing the stage with Artist greats such as Jools Holland and playing at famous venues and festivals such as Pinewood Studios and MAD festival. Having performed multiple times on the Festival circuit, along with gigs around many areas of the UK, Underground released their first Single in 2012 "Test Track"
In 2016 the band released thier follow up release containing 2 smash hits "Ursa Major" and "Starlight Eyes". All proceeds from the release went to the charity Cancer Research Uk "Hope".  It was released at a fund raising event carried out at The Spread Eagle Hotel in Thame and was met with a great response and outstanding reviews.

Undergrounds style has changed many times over the years, from heavy rock to more mellow acoustic jazz but the band have always manged to maintain thier own distinctive image and style through thier unique sound and cleaver songwriting.
